The 138th Annual Session of the Massachusetts State Grange will be held in Milford from October 28 - 31, 2010. On Friday, the Agriculture & Legislative Luncheon and the Youth & Young Adults dinner will take place. In addition the State Lecturer's program will answer the question "Who's Got Talent? and will include performances by some of the talent contest, public speaking and sign-a-song participants. On Saturday, in addition to the Celebration Banquet and Conferral of the Fifth and Sixth Degrees, the Youth will open State Session and the Junior Grangers will visit.
We ask every Grange to take the time to submit at least one resolution either on a Grange related topic or on an issue that the State Grange should take an official position and add to our Legislative Policies. Please be sure to submit all resolutions to the State Secretary by August 1, 2010.
The State Grange Session will be held at the Doubletree Hotel in Milford , 11 Beaver Street, Milford, MA 01757. Room rates including taxes are $126.16 per room per night and include breakfast for two. The State Grange will be underwriting the cost of rooms using the proceeds from the food booth at the Big E; the State Grange will contribute $25.00 per room per night bringing the cost down to $101.16 per room per night. Enclosed is a reservation form that should be sent to the hotel to make your reservation. The deadline for hotel reservations is September 23, 2010, and all rooms are available on a first come first serve basis.

A meal reservation form is at right (PDF); please return this form to the State Steward, George Thomas, 63 Fuller Street, Canton, MA 02021. These meal reservation forms must be returned before October 15, 2010.

The session program, resolutions, delegates’ credentials, and non-delegate registration forms will be mailed out in August. Please remember all Directors reports are due to the State Secretary by October 1. Also, all bills are due to the State Master by September 15.
